I’ve been experimenting with a different render-and-postwork style which gives a graphic novel edge to the images. What do you think? Good? Narsty?
Here’s a few more in the same style. I’m quite fond of my Thrud clone below. As ever, click to embiggen.
Till next time!
I really, really, really love this style! I think you should embrace it and take it further!
Reis O’Briens last blog post..Galtar! Episodes 4-6
The style looks good. However don’t abandon the realism of the previous styles. Maybe that new project we discussed could be done in this style.
Vulcan Stevs last blog post..RPGBN Heroes: Watchmen of the Justice Avengers – Role Call!
These look great! Would love a tutorial on how you achieve it. Please! Pretty Please?
@Reis Oh I’m sure it’s going to get some love and see just how far I can push this style. Thought you might like the Thrud :D
@Stev Mmmmmm….. project style….. not there’s an idea. And no, I love the realism too much to leave that behind
@Brian A tutorial is on it’s way!
Thanks, all.
You’re getting a lot of use out of that Photoshop filter…
Stuarts last blog post..Political Considerations…
Oh yeh. Duplicate layer, apply filter, multiply. Done.
Nice :D
I like the last one. Nice balance between realistic and abstract.
Chris Tregenzas last blog post..Adventure Writing Competition
Style is solid. I’d use it as an understated backdrop to a full color RPG book… wish I could explain more but my weird notions on RPG design are pretty unfathomable even to me most times.
Helmsmans last blog post..Coming Back to Alpha Omega
Yes!! I love this. Keep it up. I’d love to see more.
(also, more reviews and comments and stuff using warriors and warlocks)

@Maestro Lots and lots of W&W goodness is coming your way :D
