Here’s the as-yet-unnamed Guvner, Pirate-Thief King of Vampyr Point. Name suggestions welcome! Stats for 4e D&D to follow. I’m thinking Paragon level Rogue/Warlord/Guildmaster Thief. Unless you think another class combo would suit a Pirate King!
Don’t cross this guy.
Just…… don’t.
What language/Sprachbund are you thinking/feeling? While it’s up in the air, I’ll go with something Northern European.
“Radulf”. I want to add a descriptive name (e.g. “the Heartless”, “the Quick”) but I can’t seem to think of anything. I think “Radulf” is a good name, though. If not that, I’d suggest the variant “Rafe”.
We’re firmly into Noir territory, so he needs the kind of name that Raymond Chandler would come up with if he wrote pirate novels. Which would be awesome, btw.
Rafe is good. I like Rafe.
Rafe Givener.
Don’t ask me why, it just popped in my head and seemed perfect.
Suggestions? Yeah pirates esp pirate kings need eye patches! or a trefoil, parrot, poofy shirt? something piratey dammit!
That guy has land lubber all over him, “Don’t screw with me” land lubber but land lubber all the same.
Norman Harmans last blog post..Seven Days, Seven Blades of Luck – The Sword of Rotten Luck
@Norman Let’s just say that his shipboard days are over. He’s the Guvner – now, the pirates come to him :D
Maybe he has a peg leg or is missing a hand.
How about if he had a hook for a leg?
That would be piratical, and more than a little disturbing :D
