Must admit, I thought that Hero Machine would be limited as to the range of characters it could create, especially given the small number of poses. That’s probably the biggest limitation to the app overall; it would benefit from having a whole range of dynamic hero poses rather than just the single crummy stance in six body types. Ah well.
When it comes to the body parts, props and clothes I’ve no complaints. More would be better of course, but there’s enough to handle pretty much any concept with a little imagination and creative use of the layer order. Poser it ain’t, but it’s certainly better than anything I’d be able to draw freehand.
