What about the british soldiers?
And Blair?
I believe everyone is equally guilty in this, not just the US. I would give the US and the UK government 50/50 of the “glory”.

I agree entirely. I’ll amend the post.

Do they say why there’s a 1:6 ratio of flags for dead Iraqis and 1:1 ratio of flags for dead Americans? That’s weird, specially since the flags don’t seem to differ in size or any other obvious quality.

I think it’s because if they put up one flag for all 600,000 killed Iraqi civilians, they’d need a lot more room! So, they used 100,000 flags instead and set the ratio.
Simple as that.

Well, I’m still confused; a lingering doubt of racism remains: Why did they not set the same ratio for Americans? Oh well… The Flickr page doesn’t have a lot of information…

I agree. The ratios should have been the same. I guess the problem was that the 900-ish US flags would just disappear in a sea of 100,000 Iraq ones.
Which, I guess, is the whole point in the end.
