Fauxto: A photoshop-like app, using just your web browser

Short but sweet post today.

Take a look at Fauxto. It’s like Photoshop, but runs in your web browser. In fact, it’s remarkably like Photoshop. Fast, too. And free. Hit F11 when it’s loaded to put your browser into Fullscreen mode and you’ll hardly know it’s not Photoshop. Except that it’s better looking maybe, and a lot of the Photoshop cool tools (Curves, a lot of Filters, etc) are missing. I’m sure they will come in time though.

It’s still a little rough round the edges, but shows big promise. I look forward to seeing the “Open Remote” actually work; it would be great to be able to load an image straight from my Flickr feed. Neat.

Like this post? Why not buy me a coffee? Thank you.
