I honestly don’t give a damn, but I don’t think that anyone like Paris Hilton will age with grace…not with the lifestyle she has…and with a crazy family behind her, she was meant to go down the drain before 30.
I don’t understand the beauty in exposing yourself like she (and lately Britney Spears) are doing when they have enough money to do something creative and get their name in the media that way instead.
What’s up with this “bad attention is as good as any attention” thingy? And it’s an American thing. Unfortunately.

I hate to see anyone waste away like these young stars do…reminds me of River Phoenix. But it’s their prerogative!

I agree. It’s their choice, their life. It’s just a shame it’s under the spotlight so much.

The spotlight is on them cause we love controversy. We’re not obliged to be a part of that circus of freaks are we? Sorry I am getting carried away as usual!
Mind if I blogroll you?

I’d be happy for you to blogroll me, Tisha. I’ll return in kind
You’re right, we don’t have to follow the freakshow at all. I try to avoid it where possible. Unfortunately in this 24-hour news age where we demand constant gossip, it’s difficult to do. Here in the UK shows like Big Brother get coverage on News at Ten, and the TV schedules are full of trashy cheaply made “celebrity” shows, it’s almost impossible to do.
Personally, I prefer a good book

Oh thanks for that!
I was also playing devil’s advocate, well basically I am a pain in the rear end…celebrity gossip has been dominating the news lately with Mel Gibson, Michael Richards et al.
I also much prefer a good book or conversation then the tube.
