There’s not a whole lot of politicians who know anything about respect towards the people they serve…if any. I believe that respect is born out of experience and that you really know what others are going through. That’s what make you respect someone. And politicians have never had to deal with the reality that some “common” people have to face on a daily basis for one reason or another.
Tony Blair sounds like a typical politicion to me – the kind that walk over others and step on anyone to get his personal opinion and wants through.
Maybe he was Bush’ baby brother in an earlier life?
