Democracy in action
Yesterday I asked whether George Bush was a bad man.
Amazingly, all the people who voted agreed that he is. That’s a unanimous decision that was open to anyone, anywhere in a free vote. No one at all was restricted from voting, there was no rigging of the results and the information about the voting results are open for all to see.
It’s democracy, perfected, so we must abide by it’s decision, ignore all the people who did not vote or who did not know that the vote was going on. Ignorance is no excuse in a democracy, and a wasted vote is still a wasted vote. Shame on you. That fact that only one person voted doesn’t matter. His vote counted. Yours didn’t. It’s too late to complain now, you yellerknickers.
Now that we have ascertained unanimously that George Bush is a Bad Man (using that self-same oh-so- perfect democratic process that he himself holds in such high esteem), can we please have him removed from office immediately and tried for crimes against humanity?
This is how democracy is supposed to work, isn’t it?
